Museum Technician – Comprehensive Operational Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver services and support as a Professional, Technical, and Administrative Support Services (PTASS) Museum Technician within the Defense and Security Industry Sector, with a focus on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Department of Justice, located throughout the CONUS Region.

• Assist in professional services engagements for clients in the Defense and Security Sector, including the DEA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess knowledge and experience with specialized subject matter related to museum collections.

• Have familiarity with museum procedures, essential techniques, required tools, and materials.

• Experienced in using collection management software.

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college/university, or possess equivalent experience.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years without a degree.

• Requires expertise in specialized museum collections, procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and collection management software.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe.
