This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct virtual consultations with patients using Bastion Health’s HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
• Assess, diagnose, and address patient concerns within the Nurse Practitioner’s education, experience, licensure, and scope of practice.
• Deliver care focused on primary and preventive health, sexual and reproductive health, behavioral wellness, and overall well-being.
• Educate patients and create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Examine patient medical histories, symptoms, lab results, and other pertinent clinical information.
• Order and interpret necessary lab tests and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications via the electronic health record when clinically justified.
• Identify cases that necessitate in-person evaluations, specialist care, or emergency treatment, and provide suitable referrals or escalations.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience and cultivate strong provider-patient relationships.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, care coordinators, and other team members.
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, clinical protocols, company policies, and professional standards.
• Engage in continuous training, quality improvement efforts, and occasional team meetings.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification from a recognized certifying organization.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or APRN licenses in a minimum of six U.S. states.
• Active and unrestricted registered nursing licenses corresponding to the applicable advanced practice licenses.
• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national board certification in the relevant population focus.
• At least one year of pertinent clinical experience.
• Experience in evaluating and treating adult patients.
• Strong clinical judgment, including the capacity to determine when telehealth is not suitable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in electronic health records, video platforms, and other healthcare technologies.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a remote clinical team.
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace appropriate for confidential telehealth consultations.
• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week, encompassing clinical and related non-clinical responsibilities.
• Preferred: Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Preferred: Active Nurse Practitioner licenses in 10 or more states.
• Preferred: Active and unrestricted DEA registration.
• Preferred: Previous telehealth or virtual care experience.
• Preferred: Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, men’s health, sexual health, reproductive health, or preventive care.
• Preferred: Willingness to acquire additional state licenses based on organizational requirements.
• Preferred: Availability during evenings or weekends.
