Multi-Speaker Verbatim Transcription Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver verbatim transcription services for a prominent auto and property insurance client.

• Transcribe recordings from interviews featuring accented speech and challenging audio conditions.

• Adhere to a required turnaround time of less than 24 hours.

• Process assignments in the order they are received, irrespective of audio quality, length, or complexity.

• Prioritize tasks for a designated branch and provide assistance to other branches when workload allows.

• Accept temporary reassignments from the team lead to help mitigate backlogs.

• Work autonomously while collaborating with colleagues and following guidance and feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in legal or insurance transcription is essential.

• Proven experience with multi-speaker and/or verbatim transcription is required.

• A personal computer equipped with suitable word-processing and audio software.

• A reliable broadband internet connection.

• Capability to meet a mandatory turnaround time of less than 24 hours.

• Proficiency in transcribing accented speech, English slang, various dialects, poor phone connections, background noise, muffled speech, and overlapping speakers.

• A self-motivated individual who can maintain quick turnaround times while ensuring quality output.

• Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with team members.

• Competence in following directions and incorporating feedback from colleagues.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
