This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Investigate, assess, and adjust first-party auto and property damage claims, including some liability exposure.

β€’ Verify coverage and apply policy provisions to determine eligibility for compensation.

β€’ Conduct prompt investigations, gathering documentation, photographs, and other supporting materials.

β€’ Acquire and analyze supporting evidence (e.g., incident reports, CCTV footage when relevant).

β€’ Set and maintain appropriate reserves in accordance with authority guidelines.

β€’ Evaluate damage claims encompassing both auto and non-auto property losses.

β€’ Review medical documentation and assess injury exposures when applicable.

β€’ Identify claims that necessitate carrier reporting and take the necessary actions.

β€’ Negotiate settlements within authority limits and align with client expectations.

β€’ Manage claims towards timely resolution, with many files closing within 30 days.

β€’ Keep accurate and current claim documentation, notes, and diary management.

β€’ Communicate effectively with claimants and internal stakeholders.

β€’ Collaborate with legal teams and external counsel on litigated claims when necessary.

β€’ Ensure adherence to corporate claim handling standards and service commitments.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 3–5 years of experience in claim handling, including first-party auto and/or property claims.

β€’ Experience in managing property damage claims (both auto and non-auto).

β€’ Basic understanding of coverage analysis and liability investigations.

β€’ Ability to manage a moderate caseload in a fast-paced setting.

β€’ Strong organizational skills with the capability to maintain consistent diary follow-up.

β€’ Experience in assessing damages and managing claims through to resolution.

β€’ Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional claim handling.

β€’ Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

β€’ Reliable and predictable attendance during assigned client service hours.

β€’ Current adjuster license in home state or designated home state.

β€’ Ability to obtain and maintain additional licenses (NY is strongly preferred; FL, TX, AZ, AL, and others are a plus).
