MSP Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• This position focuses on service delivery rather than project implementation.

• The ideal candidate will primarily engage with end users via phone and ticketing systems, addressing Tier 2 issues and escalating to senior engineers as necessary.

• Maintaining the integrity of our RMM and PSA systems is essential.

• Strong phone communication skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users are highly valued.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a managed services provider (MSP) or consulting environment.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and basic Intune) and Microsoft Azure tenant administration at the support level.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and providing end-user support.

• Daily support experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Zoom.

• Experience in supporting line-of-business applications, including troubleshooting third-party business applications alongside vendor support.

• Practical experience with at least one RMM platform and one PSA platform; adept at ticket management, time tracking, and documentation practices.

• Experience in monitoring and responding to backup job statuses, EDR/security alerts, and network event notifications.
