This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the Field Medical Team members to ensure consistent, high-quality, non-promotional scientific engagement within the multiple myeloma therapeutic area.
• Convert medical and therapeutic area strategies into distinct regional field priorities and actionable execution plans.
• Set clear expectations and standards for scientific exchange, healthcare professional insights, and Scientific Intelligence, ensuring compliant field execution.
• Analyze, interpret, and escalate field-identified healthcare professional insights and Scientific Intelligence to guide medical planning and evidence requirements.
• Provide continuous coaching and feedback to enhance scientific expertise, judgment, and communication abilities across the Field Medical Team.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Health Impact (MHI) leadership to synchronize regional execution with medical goals and evidence strategies.
• Work alongside cross-functional partners through the In-Field Team (IFT) to facilitate coordinated regional engagement.
• Oversee regional field activities, assess healthcare professional insights and Scientific Intelligence quality, and track performance trends to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Assist in talent development, onboarding, and succession planning within the Field Medical Organization, including conducting regular field ride observations with all direct report MSLs.
• An advanced scientific degree is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent experience).
• A strong comprehension of the multiple myeloma disease area, clinical evidence, and the Field Medical role within Medical Affairs.
• Experience in Field Medical, Medical Affairs, scientific, or healthcare roles in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing field-based scientific professionals.
• Experience in effectively translating medical strategies into field execution and performance expectations.
• Experience in interpreting and utilizing field-identified insights to guide medical or evidence planning.
• Experience in effectively collaborating with cross-functional partners within Medical Affairs and the In-Field Team (IFT).
