Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and develop motion interactions for both web and mobile platforms, crafting seamless, engaging, and intuitive user experiences.

• Work closely with product designers, developers, illustrators, and marketing teams to incorporate motion into product features, onboarding processes, and branding campaigns.

• Establish and uphold motion principles and guidelines within the design system to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Produce high-fidelity animations utilizing After Effects, Principle, Figma, or Framer, ensuring a polished final product.

• Collaborate with engineers to guarantee smooth handoffs, assess technical feasibility, and achieve optimal implementation.

• Refine animations based on user feedback, usability testing, and performance insights to enhance the user experience.

• Keep abreast of motion trends, interaction patterns, and fintech best practices to foster innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in interactive motion design, micro-interactions, and UI animations.

• Proficiency in software such as After Effects, Figma, Framer, Principle, Lottie, Rive, and CSS animations.

• Strong grasp of timing, easing, and physics in animation to craft smooth and natural interactions.

• Capability to operate within a design system and contribute to scalable motion guidelines.

• Experience working alongside product designers, engineers, illustrators, and marketing teams in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques to effectively communicate motion intentions.

• Understanding of accessibility considerations in motion design to ensure inclusive experiences.

• Ability to balance aesthetic appeal with performance and usability factors.
