Mortgage Loan Analyst – III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Process and underwrite Conforming Conventional loans

• Handle FHA loans

• Manage VA loans

• Oversee USDA and Jumbo loans

• Ensure loan files comply with all company, investor, state, and federal regulations by verifying documentation

• Analyze risk, determine conditions, and issue approval or denial decisions

• Collaborate with internal partners to guarantee quality loan processing

• Deliver strong customer service while adhering to productivity and quality control standards

• Organize, compile, verify, and analyze mortgage loan files

• Assess loan eligibility, conditions, approvals, or denials in accordance with guidelines

• Clearly communicate decisions and meet departmental productivity and quality benchmarks

• Review residential loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance

• Calculate income, check for garnishments, and review assets for large deposits, gifts, or loans not listed on the credit report

• Evaluate appraisals to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Reach out to borrowers for any additional information needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive understanding of residential mortgage loans

• Familiarity with various mortgage loan products

• Clear knowledge of current RESPA laws and guidelines

• Detailed expertise in processing, underwriting, and closing procedures

• Proficient in Conforming Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo loan guidelines

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training

• Experience with Encompass Database software

• Knowledge of Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, FHA connection, VA.gov, completing VA NOV, USDA GUS, verification ordering, and Data Verify Internet software is essential

• Active affiliations and certifications such as FHA DE, SAR, and LAPP
