This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Specialist, FHA Claims is tasked with managing the submission of all FHA Part B claims along with various non-conveyance claims such as CWCOT (Claims without Conveyance of Title), SFLS (Single Family Loan Sale) claims, and all Loss Mitigation claims, which include PFS (Pre-Foreclosure Sale) Claims, Partial Claims, SFB (Special Forbearance) incentive claims, Loan Modification incentive claims, and HAMP claims.
• Ensure follow-up on all claim payments, submission of title packages to HUD, and monitor for necessary approvals or extensions within the designated investor/insurer timeframes.
• Supervise attorney firms to guarantee timely submission of all title packages or to request extensions to HUD as required within investor/insurer timeframes.
• Submit all Part B expense claims adhering to insurer/investor timelines.
• Process all non-conveyance claims, including CWCOT, SFLS, and loss mitigation claims, within the specified investor/insurer timeframes.
• Conduct daily/weekly follow-ups on all outstanding claim proceeds.
• Address and resolve any exceptions regarding suspended claim funds.
• Monitor daily reports and queues to ensure prompt processing.
• Keep the Manager informed of trends and issues, including FHA claim curtailments and loss mitigation denials.
• Strategically plan and organize work to enhance efficiency and reduce costs by optimizing methods and processes.
• Adhere to instructions provided by the Manager and renegotiate deadlines if necessary.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University is preferred; alternatively, four to six years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fundamental knowledge and experience with FHA, default guidelines, and requirements.

• Ability to meet critical departmental and federal deadlines with precision and efficiency.
