Molecular Sales Consultant – GeneSight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a business plan tailored to the territory to achieve or surpass sales objectives.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals.

• Conduct effective clinical presentations and provide product education to enhance the utilization of GeneSight testing.

• Participate in local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.

• Discover new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through consultative, value-oriented selling.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams, including medical affairs, customer service, and marketing.

• Keep precise records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.

• Stay updated on industry trends, pharmacogenomics, and the competitive landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.

• A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in molecular diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.

• Strong comprehension of the healthcare environment, especially in mental health or psychiatry.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently in a field-based position.

• Must reside within the Arizona territory.

• Familiarity with HIPAA laws, patient privacy, and the ethics surrounding patient information.

• Ability to exercise discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
