Mobile Phlebotomist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct home or office visits to patients, traveling to and from appointments, and delivering samples to patient service centers or laboratories.

• Adhere to safe and precise blood collection methods and specimen processing, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

• Demonstrate adaptability in a rapidly growing environment.

• Maintain regular communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a phlebotomy certification from a recognized agency.

• Have at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile phlebotomy experience is preferred).

• Experience in processing samples is required.

• Certification from a national organization such as American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

• Demonstrated history of delivering exceptional customer service.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to drive in low-light conditions; first appointments may occur as early as 5 AM!

• Capable of physically accessing patients, which may include kneeling, bending, stooping, sitting, and reaching.

• Ability to navigate patients' homes, which may involve climbing stairs and carrying up to 15 pounds while walking.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting with minimal supervision.

• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential.

• Bonus Qualifications: Proficiency in Spanish.
