This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure continuous preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other installed systems, equipment, and components within the facility.
• Oversee the maintenance, operation, and repair of all HVAC systems and related equipment, electrical distribution systems, plumbing, building interior/exterior repairs, and associated grounds for the designated client buildings.
• Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, providing reports on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
• React promptly to all emergencies, which may necessitate light travel during such events.
• Manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of all boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, and pipelines involved in the distribution of steam and heated or processed water.
• Maintain inventory and stock control effectively.
• Continuously suggest enhancements to the preventive maintenance program.
• Keep the management team updated on building operations by compiling and submitting monthly reports.
• Familiarize oneself with the equipment at assigned client locations and the necessary methods to utilize them correctly to ensure daily client activities are met. This includes building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and any other relevant building equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and propose solutions to mitigate them or utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing tasks.
• Adhere to all relevant codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company guidelines regarding building operations while practicing safe work habits.
• Maintain all required Federal, State, or Local licenses for the assigned locations.
• A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all facets of building engineering is required.
• Strong expertise in the technical elements of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment repair and maintenance, as well as overall system design and application.
• The candidate must hold and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid “Universal” level certification for CFC and HFC-based refrigerants (EPA Section 608) to service, repair, or dispose of equipment that may release refrigerants.
• Experience in the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of HVAC systems, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, gas lines, water systems, and similar equipment.
• Familiarity with energy management systems, techniques, and operations is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, clients, and vendors.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word, including proficiency in using smartphones and/or iPads/tablets, uploading .pdf files, and documents.
• Practical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems is preferred.
