Mobile App Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Carry out designated mobile application testing scenarios.

• Adhere to comprehensive testing guidelines and workflows.

• Capture smartphone screen recordings while executing test cases.

• Detect and document any unexpected behavior of the application.

• Submit screen recordings along with succinct test reports.

• Clearly and accurately report issues in English.

• Complete tasks within the specified project timelines.

• Assess a financial management mobile application from an end-user viewpoint in real-world settings.

• Undertake approximately one testing task per week, which takes around 30 minutes, with delivery expected within 1 to 2 business days.

• Engage in a project anticipated to last about 2 to 3 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Germany.

• Must possess an active personal bank account with a bank that operates in Germany.

• Must be prepared to log into the application using their own bank account during testing.

• Must have a smartphone operating on iOS 18 or later or Android 7 or later.

• Must have an active mobile phone number registered in Germany.

• Comfortable with understanding written instructions in English.

• Comfortable following testing guidelines provided in English.

• Comfortable drafting brief test reports in English.

• Comfortable installing and utilizing mobile applications.

• Comfortable adhering to detailed step-by-step instructions.

• Comfortable identifying unexpected behaviors in mobile applications.

• Comfortable capturing smartphone screen recordings.

• Comfortable submitting reports accurately and promptly.

• Reliable access to high-speed internet.

• Must own a smartphone device.

• A quiet environment for independent work is essential.

• Ability to fulfill assignments within the requested timeframe.

• Prior experience in software testing, QA testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), or mobile application testing is not required.
