MLOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the performance, latency, errors, availability, model drift, and alterations in data distribution of AI models and agents in production.

• Identify and manage production incidents related to AI functionality.

• Implement rollbacks, throttling, or model deactivation when established thresholds are exceeded.

• Assist in the deployment, versioning, and release processes of AI models and agents utilizing CI/CD-style pipelines.

• Maintain records that detail model ownership and lineage.

• Ensure compliance of AI systems with Responsible AI principles.

• Preserve audit trails and facilitate monitoring of fairness, bias, explainability, and transparency in production.

• Integrate AI systems with monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.

• Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and data teams to establish standardized AI Ops methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python with experience in supporting ML or LLM-based systems.

• In-depth knowledge of Model Ops / MLOps, particularly in the operational phase following deployment.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in containerized deployments, including Docker-based environments.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.

• Experience in troubleshooting production issues.

• Capability to collaborate across various functions including product, data science, engineering, and risk teams.

• Demonstrated resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to agile delivery.

• Comprehensive understanding of the distinctions between coding and engineering.

• Proficient in oral English.

• Proficient in Spanish.

• Experience in the field of AI.
