MLOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of Pruna’s SaaS Platform

• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of Pruna’s cloud-based SaaS platform, which is focused on model compression and benchmarking.

• Design and develop user-friendly, responsive interfaces utilizing fundamental frontend technologies.

• Implement and enhance backend services to support the platform’s features, including model compression, performance evaluation, and user interaction via the UI.

• Collaborate with software engineers, ML engineers, and product teams to guarantee seamless integration and a superior user experience.

• Supervise the company's R&D cluster, which includes individual machines on AWS that users can access and utilize daily.

• Manage and maintain the cluster for ML workloads, enabling the execution of batched experiments and tasks for the team.

• Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of the computational resources utilized for research and development.

• Scale the efforts of ML Research Engineers by overseeing experimentation setups, pipelines, and testing environments.

• Partner with MLOps Engineers to integrate Pruna's solutions into both proprietary and established cloud platforms.

• Evaluate new partnerships and collaboratively experiment with new tools and offerings for the ML community to generate leads and convert customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.

• Proficient in programming languages commonly utilized in MLOps (e.g., Python, C++, Java).

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with public APIs and software quality management.

• Expertise in cloud computing platforms.

• Experience with containerization technologies.

• Skilled in designing, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with orchestration tools and automated deployment practices.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across diverse teams.

• Experience in working within an agile development environment.

• A strong sense of project ownership and personal accountability.

• Passionate about making AI accessible to everyone.

• Experience with deep learning frameworks is a plus.

• Contributions to open-source MLOps projects or communities are a plus.
