ML Engineer – Open Source Community, Triage Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee community engagement and ensure technical upkeep across all Ultralytics GitHub repositories.

• Track and address GitHub issues as well as GitHub Actions notifications.

• Enhance and maintain Docker environments.

• Oversee package distribution via PyPI and Conda.

• Create automated checks to ensure documentation quality and uniformity.

• Assess and replicate reported issues.

• Evaluate and integrate community Pull Requests.

• Revise documentation and guides on docs.ultralytics.com.

• Assist users in GitHub Discussions.

• Partner with the ML team to develop new features and models.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with git, GitHub, and open-source projects.

• At least 5 years of experience in Python programming.

• Demonstrated experience in managing open-source communities.

• Strong grasp of documentation systems.

• Experience in Docker containerization.

• Knowledge of PyPI and Conda package management.

• Proficient debugging and issue reproduction abilities.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• In-depth understanding of YOLO models and computer vision concepts.

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD processes.
