Mid/Senior Java Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs using Java

• Manage multiple microservices (3-4) concurrently

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define technical direction

• Engage in cloud-native architecture primarily on AWS (90%) and Azure (10%)

• Deploy and manage services utilizing Kubernetes and Docker (essential)

• Assist with Python-based services as needed

• Analyze data insights to support informed decision-making

• Adhere to SDLC best practices: including testing, code reviews, and documentation

• Work alongside DevOps on CI/CD processes, deployments, and scaling

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Java engineering

• Extensive experience with microservices and distributed systems

• Strong proficiency in AWS services

• Solid skills in Kubernetes and Docker (essential)

• Capability to contribute to Python codebases

• Good understanding of CI/CD, REST APIs, and SQL

• Comfortable utilizing AI-driven tools and contemporary development workflows

• Proactive, ownership-oriented, and adaptable to multi-project environments
