Mid/Senior DevOps, Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

• Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD or Flux.

• Automate operational processes and infrastructure using Python or Bash.

• Optimize cloud infrastructure to enhance scalability, availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Participate in cloud migration projects and infrastructure modernization.

• Implement DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and secret management.

• Configure and manage observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, or equivalent solutions.

• Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve the reliability and efficiency of deployment processes.

• Keep technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in production environments.

• Solid experience with Linux and Bash.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

• Strong knowledge of at least one cloud provider: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience using Git and version control-based workflows.

• Experience utilizing Python for automation tasks.

• Knowledge of networking, including VPC, DNS, IAM, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.

• Experience working collaboratively with development teams.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical analysis capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment.
