Middle School Special Education Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Deliver targeted course material in a virtual setting

• Offer instruction, assistance, and guidance

• Ensure that all special education and related services are provided as defined by the IEP team

• Maintain communication with parents and relevant related service staff

• Create compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other state-specific required special education documentation

• Facilitate and lead collaborative meetings related to special education

• Promote inclusion and ensure student success within the general education classroom

• Document all interactions with parents and interventions involving students

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree AND an active state teaching license

• Capability to pass the necessary background check

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working with the targeted age group

• Experience assisting both adults and children in utilizing technology
