Middle School Math Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Missouri Connections Academy to oversee instructional programs from a home-based setting.

• Virtually manage educational programs and maintain regular consultations with learning coaches and students.

• Complete grading responsibilities, generate progress reports, and conduct parent conferences promptly.

• Enhance the instructional program through asynchronous web conferencing sessions and live instruction.

• Evaluate curriculum and develop alternative strategies for lesson delivery.

• Maintain consistent communication with parents, students, and fellow educators to create and update Personal Learning Plans.

• Work alongside other teachers to ensure all students are making successful progress.

• Organize regional field trips and incorporate these experiences into the curriculum.

• Engage in the organization and administration of State Testing.

• Attend and take part in in-person training sessions and team-building activities scheduled throughout the academic year.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Middle School Math in Missouri, in accordance with grade level and content area responsibilities.

• Previous experience with Professional Learning Communities is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office applications.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A customer-focused mindset.

• A high degree of adaptability and flexibility.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated history of being a team player.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, which may require overnight stays.

• Capability to work remotely when necessary.

• Availability to work some occasional evening hours to support families as needed.

• Must possess a personal electronic device and email for 2-step authentication purposes.
