Middle School English Curriculum Writer – Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive curricula for Middle School English, encompassing scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans.

• Produce high-quality instructional resources, including student-centered lessons and text-based activities.

• Curate and develop a variety of high-quality text sets that represent multiple perspectives and real-life experiences.

• Ensure adherence to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and goals.

• Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and fellow curriculum developers to guarantee alignment and coherence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of three years of experience in designing and/or delivering high-quality secondary humanities education.

• Demonstrated success in creating challenging, engaging, and culturally responsive curricula.
