This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Act as the primary instructor and teacher of record across all core content areas and grade levels.
• Diligently strive to achieve all objectives related to student success and school culture, alongside state-specific academic accountability standards.
• Provide highly effective live instructional sessions through web conferencing tailored to student needs and grounded in research-based teaching methodologies.
• Complete the course setup for each subject within the Learning Management System.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses, delivering feedback and grading assignments on a daily basis.
• Maintain regular contact with each student to track their progress.
• Collaborate with the Principal to develop and distribute Student Progress Reports.
• Frequently analyze student-level data to guide adjustments in instructional programs.
• Differentiate instructional strategies to accommodate the diverse needs of all students.
• Employ research-driven best practices in both synchronous and asynchronous teaching settings.
• Foster a joyful, nurturing, and supportive classroom atmosphere for every student.
• Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices in daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Enforce school-wide cultural expectations and norms within and outside the classroom.
• Communicate consistently with families regarding their child's academic and social-emotional development.
• Incorporate 21st-century technology skills into daily classroom practices and team collaborations.
• Engage in the planning and execution of non-instructional activities like social events and field trips, and attend these events in person.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively, with humility and respect, with all colleagues.
• Travel annually to support required face-to-face state testing.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Valid State teaching license in the relevant content area.
• Familiarity with State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years of teaching experience.
• Strong comfort level working in a growth-oriented coaching environment characterized by regular observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Capacity to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
• Capability to supervise students across all school environments.
• Ability to successfully pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience in a multicultural setting is preferred.
