This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate effectively with the principal and fellow Middle School Assistant Principals.
• Assist in overseeing all aspects of school operations, including instructional and cultural responsibilities.
• Maintain close relationships with key centralized service centers.
• Handle a variety of special projects and responsibilities, including compliance with all state-mandated protocols.
• Aid the school’s leadership team in executing and tracking the school improvement plan and its objectives.
• Oversee the application of established Connections Academy operational protocols.
• Enhance communication among middle school educators, Learning Coaches, and students.
• Inspire and supervise middle school staff to achieve school objectives.
• Promote student achievement and performance.
• Oversee the school year cycle and ensure teachers are accountable for their duties and tasks throughout the academic year.
• Mentor and guide teachers in the virtual instruction process.
• Manage reconciliation efforts between Connections Academy’s data systems and state and local student information systems.
• Assist with the enrollment and withdrawal processes for all middle school students.
• Provide support during state testing.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Department on student outreach, marketing, and public relations initiatives.
• Stay informed about federal and state policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Supervise staff professional development.
• Be available to address all emergencies.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience (preferred).
• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Valid Indiana Administrator’s license.
• Experience in administration or management within a school setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong perseverance, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proven capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Technologically adept, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in personnel management (preferred).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
