Middle Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed systems capable of handling significant data volumes, ensuring scalability, low latency, and fault tolerance.

• Architect and implement APIs and event-driven solutions to fulfill system requirements and enhance overall functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues across various services and the technology stack, providing both code and data fixes.

• Create and execute thorough unit tests, API tests, regression tests, and performance tests to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of the system.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to swiftly address and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development.

• Expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot WebFlux, GraphQL, and JPA / Hibernate (AuroraDB).

• Background in frontend development, preferably with React.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.

• Practical experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and a thorough understanding of at least one event streaming solution (e.g., Kafka, SNS).

• Proficient in both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
