Middle Full Stack Developer – Java/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications utilizing Java and contemporary frontend technologies.

• Set an example and guide a development team in their daily delivery tasks.

• Continuously enhance engineering practices.

• Facilitate technical discussions and take part in architectural decisions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.

• Ensure that code is clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested.

• Take ownership of features and independently deliver end-to-end solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of commercial software development experience with Java.

• Strong proficiency in Java 17+, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and React.js.

• Experience in designing and developing APIs.

• Comprehensive understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.

• Expertise in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries.

• Familiarity with design patterns, clean code principles, and testing methodologies.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum settings.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Willingness to utilize modern AI tools in everyday development processes, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and ChatGPT.

• Ability to travel internationally for business purposes.

• Leadership mindset with a hands-on approach.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented attitude.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Collaborative team player mentality.

• Aptitude for accurately estimating work and committing to delivery timelines.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of cloud and cloud-native environments; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with OSS/BSS integrations; familiarity with CAMARA and GSMA standards.

• Background in Test-Driven Development.

• Experience in performance tuning and system optimization.
