Middle Backend Developer, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Crafting clear, testable, and maintainable JS/TS code with an emphasis on OOP principles

• Taking charge of backend functionalities, from requirement comprehension to implementation, testing, and deployment

• Creating documentation for the code delivered and the technical choices made

• Conducting code reviews for fellow developers on the team, providing constructive feedback and facilitating knowledge sharing

• Actively participating in the design and adjustment of fundamental database structures and API contracts

• Suggesting practical enhancements and proactive solutions to improve the product and the team's workflow

• Collaborating with the team to identify issues, communicate risks, and focus on solutions

• Engaging in project discussions, refinements, and technical decision-making processes

• Listening to client needs and, after consulting with the team, proposing feasible solutions

• Assisting less experienced team members through code reviews, explanations, and pair programming

• Utilizing AI tools responsibly in daily tasks, ensuring results are verified and adapted to meet production standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of commercial experience with Node.js, SQL and NoSQL databases, familiarity with JS frameworks (such as Express.js, NestJS), and experience in TypeScript, SOLID, and KISS principles

• Understanding of design and architectural patterns, knowledge of Docker and GitHub Actions, basic experience with AWS services, English proficiency at B2 level, and Polish at C1 level
