• We are seeking a talented and driven Java Middleware Developer to become part of our technology team in the fintech/payments sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance microservices and middleware applications utilizing contemporary Java technologies and Agile practices. This position demands robust analytical abilities, practical experience with scalable backend systems, and effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Create new product features based on both business and technical specifications.

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable and performance-enhanced middleware applications.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.

• Develop and manage Java 11+ microservices utilizing Spring Boot and Spring Cloud (Netflix OSS).

• Design and implement RESTful APIs while integrating secure authentication methods through OAuth2.

• Work with JPA persistence and ORM modeling.

• Support SIT, UAT, and production environments, ensuring system reliability and stability.

• Employ modern Agile methodologies and engage actively in Agile ceremonies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps.

• Maintain technical documentation, encompassing product requirements, design documents, and specifications.

• Utilize Git and adhere to version control best practices for code management and collaboration.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in middleware application development using Java.

• At least 1 year of practical experience with Java 11+.

• Demonstrated experience in the fintech and/or payments sector.

• Proficiency in:

• Java Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

• Spring Framework 5.

• Spring Boot and Spring Cloud (Netflix OSS).

• RESTful API design.

• OAuth2 Security.

• JPA persistence and ORM modeling.

• Git version control systems.

• Familiarity with Event-Driven architecture and software design patterns.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Strong analytical and practical problem-solving capabilities.

• Team-oriented mindset with exceptional collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in English: Advanced written and verbal communication.

• Proficiency in Spanish: Native or Fluent written and verbal communication.
