Mid-level Travel Consultant – Business Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and consultation to clients regarding products and services that align with their travel needs and company policies;

• Generate quotes, make reservations, and issue tickets for both domestic and international travel (including air, hotel, car rental, coach/bus, and travel insurance) using supplier portals, OBTs (Online Booking Tools), and the GDS;

• Oversee rebookings and cancellations for domestic and international travel (air, hotel, car rental, coach/bus, and travel insurance) through supplier portals, OBTs (Online Booking Tools), and the GDS;

• Record sales in OBTs (Online Booking Tools);

• Request updates and registrations for passengers and hotels from the Systems Support team, ensuring that information remains accurate and complete;

• Arrange or purchase ancillary services related to air travel (such as seat selection/purchase, baggage purchase, pet booking, etc.);

• Create reimbursement requests for the internal team tasked with processing refunds;

• Support the development of the Junior Travel Consultant in executing their responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or a related discipline (completed);

• At least 3 years of experience with GDS systems, preferably Sabre;

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with OBTs (Online Booking Tools), ideally Argo, Reserve, Lemontech and/or Concur;

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office;

• Intermediate level of English;

• Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems is an advantage.
