Mid-level Software Engineer, Cloud, Java, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and maintain Java applications and APIs, focusing on scalability, performance, and integration with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.

• Execute and refine Java-based solutions, incorporating AWS SDKs and APIs, and facilitate the automation of CI/CD processes along with cloud application monitoring.

• Develop and sustain applications utilizing AWS SDKs and APIs.

• Implement and oversee serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

• Handle data storage with S3 and configure access permissions through IAM.

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines employing tools such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.

• Monitor and troubleshoot applications utilizing CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Conduct DevOps tasks, automation, and operations at scale.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.

• Apply security and compliance best practices at all stages of development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining applications on AWS.

• Proficient in Java and related frameworks.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Possess certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect and AWS Certified Developer – Associate.

• Technical expertise in:

• AWS SDKs and APIs.

• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM.

• CI/CD (CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline).

• Monitoring and debugging (CloudWatch, X-Ray).

• Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

• Strong communication skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
