Mid-level Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for generating conceptual-level specifications, recommending architectural and software quality standards in an agile manner in collaboration with agile teams and the client.

• Suggest technological advancements and ensure the implementation and development of established standards.

• Comprehend client requirements and design customized architectures to fulfill those needs.

• Develop comprehensive plans that take into account security, scalability, availability, and performance.

• Ensure that the project scope, context, and limitations are documented and agreed upon.

• Aid stakeholder decision-making by supplying information and aligning it with overall goals.

• Define and document the system’s architecture and design.

• Define and document strategies, patterns, guides, and other artifacts to direct system construction.

• Ensure the architecture meets the system’s quality attributes.

• Create the architectural description.

• Provide technical leadership throughout the project.

• Stay engaged throughout the complete development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or another discipline focused on software development or engineering.

• Desired experience: around 4 years in software architecture utilizing agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), RESTful APIs, ESB, and Cloud-native application design.

• Understanding of Reactive Architecture principles (Responsive, Resilient, Elastic, and Message-Driven).

• Experience with microservices architecture (service discovery, configuration management, log management, circuit breakers, containers, and autoscaling), along with Service Mesh.

• Experience with DevOps tools and culture (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code, and various deployment models.

• Proficient in languages and technologies relevant to the operational environment.
