Mid-Level QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Your primary objective will be to guarantee the quality of deliverables for a high-performing agile team, engaging in the full cycle from requirements refinement to regression testing.

• You will be responsible for planning, executing, and automating tests for web and mobile applications, proactively preventing defects and ensuring consistent delivery.

• You are anticipated to work independently in defining and executing tests for your assigned tasks, with occasional guidance from leadership.

• The challenge lies in anticipating and mitigating defects in a dynamically evolving product with a substantial user base, where each failure significantly affects the customer's daily experience.

• Analyze requirements, stories, and layouts during the refinement phase, identifying ambiguities, inconsistencies, and gaps prior to development (defect prevention).

• Develop detailed, clear, and well-structured test scenarios.

• Prepare and perform functional, exploratory, regression, and usability tests.

• Document, provide evidence for, and track bug resolutions alongside the development team.

• Integrate AI tools into the QA daily workflow to enhance delivery while maintaining critical judgment over the results produced.

• Evolve and sustain the web and mobile automated test suite (Cypress and Maestro).

• Utilize and analyze SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., ClickHouse and MongoDB) to validate tests.

• Estimate, prioritize, and plan your activities within an agile framework.

• Assist in the creation and updating of internal documentation.

• Collaborate with the team and maintain clear, ongoing communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or ongoing degree in technology-related fields.

• Experience in software development in an agile setting.

• Proficient in executing functional, exploratory, and regression tests.

• Experience with test automation for web and mobile platforms.

• Familiarity with software testing techniques and industry best practices.

• Understanding of agile development methodologies, such as Kanban.

• Proficient with tools like Jira, GitHub, and VS Code.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in quality assurance processes.

• Proficient with automation frameworks (Cypress, Maestro, among others).

• Ability to query and analyze SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Technical proficiency in English for reading purposes.

• Experience in API test automation (Postman).

• Experience with performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter and k6.

• Preferred certification or postgraduate studies in relevant areas.
