Mid-Level Oracle Database Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code to enhance application functionality and performance.

• Create efficient, reliable, and well-documented stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks through query optimization and improvements in schema design.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement database features from start to finish.

• Provide technical assistance for client-facing issues related to database behavior and performance.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to high quality standards.

• Mentor junior team members and aid in their professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of practical experience in Oracle database development utilizing SQL and PL/SQL.

• Strong understanding of both logical and physical database design.

• Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and query optimization.

• Capability to work independently and take responsibility for deliverables.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Fulfillment of military obligations, if applicable.

• Experience with Linux scripting for database automation tasks (Desirable).

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Desirable).

• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry (Desirable).
