Mid-Level .NET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies.

• Create and manage data layers utilizing Entity Framework and direct SQL Server code.

• Write and enhance complex SQL queries; optimize database performance.

• Securely and reliably integrate third-party APIs and custom client services.

• Implement dependency injection to produce modular and testable code.

• Deploy and troubleshoot applications on IIS and within on-premise environments.

• Utilize logging and telemetry tools (such as App Insights or equivalents) for production monitoring.

• Enhance legacy code to improve readability, testability, and maintainability.

• Responsibly use AI coding assistants to enhance productivity and validate outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–4 years of professional experience in .NET development.

• Proficient in C# within the .NET Framework 4.8 and some modern .NET (9+) development.

• Practical experience with Entity Framework.

• Strong skills in SQL Server: complex queries, joins, CTEs, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API.

• Experience in building console and scheduled applications in a production setting.

• Familiarity with dependency injection using Unity and Microsoft DI patterns.

• Experience in deploying and managing applications on IIS and on-premise infrastructure.

• Comfortable working with and improving legacy codebases.

• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level or higher.

• Ability to work during US Eastern Time (EST) hours.
