Mid-Level Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp business needs and design solutions that transition machine learning, ML ops, traditional AI, LLMs, and agentic AI into practical, product-oriented applications.

• Design and implement integrations that utilize newly developed machine learning, ML ops, traditional AI, LLMs, and agentic AI products.

• Develop solutions that enhance the speed of delivery and scalability of product pipelines.

• Utilize managed and serverless cloud services to create efficient and scalable cloud-native application solutions and data pipelines.

• Design and implement sophisticated machine learning models using methodologies such as regression, classification, Bayesian approaches, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Create and deploy prototypes for Agentic AI and other advanced machine learning solutions.

• Collaborate closely with GenAI engineers to integrate prompt engineering and RAG elements into production systems.

• Engage in customer interactions, effectively conveying technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of practical industry experience in ML/AI, Data Science, or Data Engineering.

• Demonstrated success in delivering ML/AI and data projects.

• Proficient in NLP and LLM-related technologies and frameworks.

• Skilled in programming languages such as Python and SQL (with JavaScript being a bonus).

• A solid understanding and enthusiasm for Test Driven Design.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and best practices.

• Experience with prompt engineering and RAG methods is a plus.

• Expertise in 2–3 primary cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks).

• Familiarity with Docker is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
