Mid-Level Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage a range of litigation cases related to wrongful death, severe injury, construction issues, contract breaches/business disputes, tort claims, and more.

• Oversee all aspects of cases, including legal strategy formulation, research, drafting legal documents and motions, managing discovery processes, arguing motions in court, participating in mediations, and conducting trials.

• Collaborate with a diverse clientele, including individuals, businesses, and organizations.

• Work closely with team members and receive mentorship from seasoned partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully remote and hybrid work options are available. Remote candidates must reside in Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and Riverside Counties).

• Must hold current admission to the California State Bar.

• A minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience is required, including at least one year of experience in defending tort claims.

• Proven experience in drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery requests, creating motions and legal briefs, conducting and defending depositions, liaising with clients and opposing counsel, and appearing in court.

• Preference for candidates with proficiency in arguing motions and experience in mediations and arbitrations. Trial experience is a bonus!

• Must possess outstanding communication and advocacy skills, along with a client-centric approach and a dedication to achieving successful outcomes.

• A strong desire and/or capability to independently manage a caseload while also collaborating with team members.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required.
