Mid-level Full Stack Developer – Ruby on Rails, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Maintenance & Enhancement: You will enhance our current Shopify Apps, ensuring they remain stable, efficient, and easy to maintain.

• Technical Design of New Features: Collaborating with the team, you will conceptualize new features from a technical standpoint, focusing on practicality, cleanliness, and scalability.

• New Development & Collaboration with Product: Alongside the upkeep of our partner apps, you will create new Shopify Apps — from conception through implementation to launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a developer in a full-stack environment.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.

• Proficient in using Git.

• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• You are skilled in writing automated tests (preferably RSpec) and are keen to enhance code quality.

• You approach work in a structured manner, communicate proactively, and consistently drive tasks to completion.

• Proficient in German (minimum B2 level).
