Mid-Level Developer, Full-Stack, VTEX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop low-complexity unit and integration tests, while also identifying opportunities to enhance and add tests to current solutions;

• Assist the team in pinpointing issues and suggesting effective solutions;

• Oversee the health of the projects you are involved in and proactively detect potential failure points;

• Implement security concepts and adhere to best practices;

• Begin to familiarize yourself with metrics and learn how to identify and interpret architectural models;

• Decompose features into smaller components for implementation by yourself or other team members;

• Provide support to the team whenever needed;

• Facilitate team initiatives, leading the necessary ceremonies and forums for both your professional growth and that of the group.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with VTEX

• Background in system development

• Knowledge of frontend and backend patterns and best practices

• Understanding of web security and performance best practices

• Experience in microservices development: Java Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, GraphQL, Flutter, Python, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven, and Message Queues (JMS, ActiveMQ, or Kafka)

• Proficiency in frontend and cross-platform development using React, Angular, Node.js, Flutter; experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker

• Familiarity with design patterns

• Experience with unit testing using JUnit, awareness of logging in Datadog, and proficiency with Git

• Knowledge of databases: Oracle DB, SQL, MySQL, and Amazon Aurora

• Experience with caching using Redis; understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Scrum methodologies

• Fluent in English (experience working on international projects)
