Mid-level Data Engineer – Azure Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines capable of processing large volumes of data from various sources.

• Develop and enhance ETL/ELT processes to ensure the quality, integrity, and availability of data.

• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts/Product Owners (POs), and developers to comprehend data requirements and implement strong solutions.

• Oversee and monitor data infrastructure, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.

• Implement and manage Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures.

• Ensure data security and compliance in line with data governance and industry regulations.

• Document data architectures, pipeline strategies, and related processes.

• Contribute to the establishment of standards and best practices for data engineering.

• Automate data engineering processes and related tasks.

• Mentor junior engineers and trainees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable position.

• A postgraduate degree in Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• Relevant data certification(s).

• Experience in technology consulting.

• Proficient in reading English.
