Mid-level Data Cloud Developer – Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain data pipelines within a cloud environment.

• Structure data for use in reports, APIs, and data products.

• Apply best practices for ensuring data quality, version control, and testing.

• Enhance query performance and streamline data loading operations.

• Work in collaboration with product, BI, and engineering teams to gather requirements.

• Oversee systems, manage incidents, and guarantee the reliability of solutions.

• Create documentation for processes, data flows, and data standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mid-level Data Developer / Data Engineer.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on data.

• Strong SQL expertise along with knowledge of relational databases and/or data warehouses.

• Experience in ETL/ELT processes and pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, etc.).

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Scala for data manipulation.

• Solid understanding of version control practices (Git) and experience in collaborative development.

• Fluent in Portuguese and open to 100% remote work.

• Knowledge of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures.

• Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
