Mid-level Backend Software Engineer – Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain scalable, high-performance backend services;

• Create automated tests (unit, mocked, and end-to-end) to ensure the quality of the code;

• Advance and uphold system architecture by implementing best practices in modularity and design;

• Oversee and enhance the performance of production systems;

• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development utilizing Ruby on Rails;

• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL;

• Practical experience in developing automated tests;

• Familiarity with Sidekiq for handling asynchronous processing;

• Knowledge of software architecture principles, including Clean Architecture, Clean Code, SOLID principles, OOP, and Design Patterns;

• Experience in building and utilizing RESTful APIs;

• Proficiency with Docker for creating and managing development environments;

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to promote a culture of continuous learning.
