This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Conduct fieldwork under the guidance of a Crew Chief, Field Director, and/or Principal Investigator.
• Collect and maintain designated records of scientific data for supervisors, which includes environmental sampling, operations and maintenance, as well as inspections at client locations.
• Aid in calculations, setup and operation of equipment, inspection of equipment and installations for adherence to specifications, and upkeep of appropriate project documentation.
• Gather and input data while applying technical principles and theories under supervision.
• High School diploma coupled with 4 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in archaeological fieldwork within the PNW region.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, as travel for projects will be necessary for this position.
• US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience with a diverse array of field methodologies, which include archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring is preferred.
• Completion of an archaeological field school is an asset (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Geospatial technology, including GPS and GIS, is preferred.
• Proficient in computer use, with experience in Microsoft Office (Preferred).
