Mid-Level AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and create NLP applications to enhance guest-agent interactions.

• Develop effective text representations to convert natural language into actionable features.

• Identify, implement, and optimize algorithms and tools for various NLP tasks.

• Train, assess, and refine models through statistical analysis and experimental methods.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to incorporate AI features into scalable production systems.

• Gather and structure extensive datasets to drive event-driven actions and enhance conversation insights.

• Contribute to the improvement of reporting systems with AI-powered analytics and automation.

• Keep abreast of the fast-changing fields of LLMs and machine learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of NLP techniques (text representation, semantic extraction, classification algorithms).

• Familiarity with big data frameworks and event-driven architectures.

• Experience in deploying LLMs (e.g., GPT, Gemini, BERT, or similar) and RAG systems in production settings.

• Analytical mindset complemented by excellent problem-solving skills.

• Proficient coding abilities with a focus on writing robust, testable, and maintainable Python code.

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics, or a related discipline.
