Mid Data Engineer – Data & AI Factory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate as a member of the Data & AI Factory team, partnering with clients to assist with their data-ops and AI initiatives.

• Participate in the design, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data pipelines, models, and transformations.

• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data observability solutions aimed at enhancing data quality.

• Transform data into actionable business insights by preparing tailored solutions optimized for each client.

• Serve as a trusted mentor for junior team members.

• Set an example through leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Python.

• Familiarity with GO.

• Strong knowledge of DBT.

• Expertise in SQL.

• Good understanding of Power BI.

• Some experience with Vertex AI and Dataiku (certification is a significant advantage).

• Experience programming within Agile methodologies and familiarity with ITIL best practices.

• Knowledge of database and data analysis technologies, encompassing relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Relevant experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data products and services.

• Some exposure to job orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster).

• Some familiarity with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte).

• Some experience with Hadoop and platforms such as Apache Spark, Pig, or Hive.

• Proficient in English.
