Mid Android Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• As an Android Engineer, you will engage in developing some of the most essential, high-traffic, and user-facing components of the client's application, working on intricate projects.

• Your contributions will significantly influence the core user experience, concentrating on vital areas such as Maps, Listing Details, and important front-to-back-end integrations.

• You will immerse yourself in a comprehensive, mature, and multi-contributor codebase, taking complete ownership of the end-to-end feature delivery process, from technical design through to execution, enjoying significant autonomy on projects that may last from a week to several months.

• By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will convert complex business requirements into clean, maintainable code while efficiently integrating AI-driven development tools (such as Cursor or Copilot) to enhance architecture and ensure compatibility within existing high-traffic workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in native Android development.

• Practical experience in building Android applications using both Kotlin and Java (both are essential).

• A thorough understanding of the native Android ecosystem and modern components (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Compose).

• Proven experience in developing features within large-scale, complex codebases and the capability to navigate them effortlessly.

• Experience working on B2C mobile applications (a must-have).

• Strong ability to collaborate across teams and take full ownership of end-to-end feature delivery.

• Familiarity with AI code generation tools such as GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
