Microsoft Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Canvas Apps for internal business processes (applications, approvals, registries, trackers)

• Create Model-Driven Apps based on Dataverse for complex scenarios with business logic

• Design responsive UI using Power Fx, component libraries, galleries, and forms

• Optimize application performance (delegation, concurrent loading, caching patterns)

• Develop Cloud Flows to automate business processes (approval workflows, notifications, data synchronization)

• Create Desktop Flows (RPA) for automating routine tasks in legacy systems

• Build complex scenarios with error handling (try-catch, retry policies), parallel branches, and conditions

• Integrate solutions via Custom Connectors, HTTP requests, and Microsoft Graph API

• Monitor and support existing flows — error analysis, optimization, and refactoring

• Participate in gathering and analyzing business requirements together with an analyst and a Senior Developer

• Estimate task labor intensity and take part in sprint planning

• Write technical documentation for developed solutions

• Participate in code reviews and review colleagues’ solutions

• Test solutions (functional and regression)

• Work with managed solutions — packaging, exporting, and importing between environments (Dev → UAT → Prod)

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience in development on the Microsoft Power Platform

• Experience in implementing a minimum of 5 production solutions on Power Apps / Power Automate

• Experience with Power Pages (or experience with Dynamics 365 Portals / Power Apps Portals)

• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, decompose tasks into subtasks

• Experience writing technical documentation for own solutions

• Teamwork experience using Agile/Scrum practices

• Power Apps (Canvas) — strong knowledge of: Power Fx, galleries, forms, responsive design, delegation, component libraries

• Power Apps (Model-Driven) — practical experience with: views, forms, business rules, dashboards, sitemap

• Power Pages — practical experience with: Liquid templates, Web API, entity permissions, web roles, portal customization

• Power Automate (Cloud) — strong knowledge of: approval flows, conditions, loops, error handling, expressions, custom connectors

• Power Automate (Desktop) — basic experience: creating RPA scripts for UI automation

• Dataverse — strong knowledge of: tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, views, calculated fields

• SharePoint — practical experience: integration as a data source, lists, document libraries

• REST API / HTTP — practical experience: calling external APIs from Power Automate and Power Apps

• Microsoft Graph API — basic experience: working with users, groups, mail, calendar

• ALM — basic experience: managed/unmanaged solutions, Dev/UAT/Prod environments

• Higher education in IT, computer science, or related fields

• PL-400 — Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

• Proficiency in Ukrainian

• English — A2+ (reading documentation)
