Microservices Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot with Java 21 and Java 25.

• Create and enhance RESTful APIs with well-defined contracts.

• Implement input validation and manage error handling effectively.

• Integrate services with databases hosted on-premises as well as those on AWS.

• Optimize interactions with databases and containerize services for better performance.

• Deploy services on Kubernetes platforms.

• Build and sustain CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines.

• Troubleshoot incidents across both application and database layers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field is required.

• Over 8 years of experience in IT software development.

• Strong understanding of Spring Boot microservices architecture.

• Practical experience with Java versions 21 and 25.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.

• Must successfully pass drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.

• Must have resided in the U.S. for the last 5 years.
