This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Deliver in-person counseling services to military Service Members and their families, encompassing individual, couples, family, and children's counseling.
• Identify suitable referrals and connections to military and community resources based on diverse clinical expertise and client requirements.
• Conduct presentations focused on social skills enhancement and social-emotional learning for early childhood development.
• Establish rapport with Service Members, spouses, and children through participation in installation and community events.
• Assist families and children in navigating military-community challenges, transitions, frequent relocations, separations, and deployments.
• Offer adult counseling, consultation, and outreach services to qualified Service Members and adult family members.
• Provide CYB counseling, consultation, and outreach to eligible children, youth, parents, staff, and faculty members.
• Observe, engage, and participate in activities with children and youth.
• Mentor, guide, and assist staff and parents, including demonstrating behavior management techniques.
• Carry out responsibilities in various indoor and outdoor military, school, and child-development-center settings.
• Master’s degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
• Licensed to practice independently (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in a U.S. state or territory.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Capable of passing a basic employment background check.
• Able to secure a National/Child National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance, commonly referred to as a Public Trust clearance.
• Competence to support either adults or minors in diverse military-community roles.
• Capacity to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including uneven grassy, gravel, and dirt areas, stairs, exposure to various weather conditions, and sitting on the floor with children for up to two hours.
