MES Functional Analyst – Digital Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• The individual in this role will participate in the design, development, enhancement, and implementation of software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s Center of Excellence (COE) for enterprise MES, as well as facilitate integrations with other enterprise products for our internal Operations clientele.

• This position will assist in troubleshooting software application issues, addressing systems integration and compatibility challenges, and managing tasks throughout the software development lifecycle.

• The primary focus will include process planning and manufacturing execution, along with integration to Pratt and Whitney’s SAP ERP and other enterprise solutions. Current strategic initiatives involve supporting the existing Manufacturing, Assembly, and Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) business, with an eventual transition to supporting the roadmap for MES deployment of next-gen solutions across value streams, implementing new sites, and integrating with emerging technologies for IIOT and Industry 4.0.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or a similar domain; OR an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or a related area.

• Proficient skills in system testing and coordination.

• Capable of supporting process mapping and solution design.

• Experience with Agile methodology and its operational processes.

• Familiarity with JIRA to support DevOps management.

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to Government contractual obligations.
