MES Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collect user requirements and align the existing manufacturing processes with the MES, ERP, and Process Automation systems.

• Document and validate the configuration of the MES and Electronic Batch Records (EBRs).

• Assess biopharmaceutical processes to develop and configure Electronic Batch Records (EBR).

• Deliver engineering and technical support for manufacturing execution systems and digital systems within the Biopharmaceutical Operations facility.

• Analyze and advance technology, plan and execute modifications, troubleshoot, and support manufacturing execution systems along with other digital solutions.

• Assist in the site deployments of Emerson Syncade (MES).

• Follow, create, and continually enhance the operation and maintenance procedures for process controls and manufacturing execution systems.

• Perform duties in a manner that demonstrates respect for safety, EHS, quality compliance, data integrity, and engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Automation Engineer with escalating levels of responsibility.

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting manufacturing automation solutions.

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology industry is preferred.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Emerson DeltaV Batch is required.

• At least 3 years of experience with MES (Syncade) in Life Sciences/Pharma.

• Preferred hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems such as Emerson Delta V.

• Comprehensive understanding of ISA S88 and S95 models, including MES recipe authoring, MES script writing, development, documentation, testing, and implementation in a life sciences (biopharmaceutical) setting.
