This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of merchant onboarding in collaboration with acquiring banks and payment providers;

• Serve as the main point of contact for merchants during the onboarding and approval processes;

• Convert compliance, legal, and onboarding requirements into straightforward instructions for clients;

• Gather, review, and authenticate onboarding documentation (corporate, compliance, and commercial);

• Evaluate document quality beyond simple checklists - ensuring alignment with regulatory and acquirer standards;

• Detect gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance risks and advise clients on necessary enhancements;

• Compile and organize comprehensive onboarding packages for submission to acquiring partners;

• Facilitate ongoing communication and Q&A sessions between merchants and acquiring banks;

• Monitor onboarding pipelines, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and proactively address bottlenecks;

• Collaborate with compliance, legal, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services in a client-facing capacity;

• Demonstrated experience with merchant onboarding, KYC/KYB, or acquiring workflows;

• Strong knowledge of key documents (e.g., incorporation documents, UBO structures, AML policies, terms and conditions);

• Ability to critically evaluate documentation quality and identify potential red flags or compliance gaps;

• Exceptional communication skills - capable of guiding clients through complex requirements clearly;

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills across various onboarding pipelines;

• Practical knowledge of AML/KYC principles and regulatory expectations;

• Proficient in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
